Jessie Baldinger

is a New York based scenic designer who loves finding new visual forms to tell dynamic stories through collaboration.

Originally from South Florida, Jessie is a graduate of Northwestern University majoring in Theatre and Art History, in the Theatrical Design Module. She worked as a freelance scenic designer in Chicago before moving to New York.

Jessie is motivated by curiosity, a passion for learning, and the thrill of collaboratively crafting striking images.

Annabel Heacock

they/she


is a collaborative artist, director, puppet-creator, deviser, producer, collage-maker, and administrator. At present, Annabel is based in Brooklyn, New York and works at Roundabout Theatre Company as the Artistic Programs Manager. Most recently, they directed here i fall up, a new queer, haunted folk musical by Beth Golison at the New Ohio Theatre's final Ice Factory Festival, and the world premiere of As I Was, Not As I Am by August Hakvaag at WP Theater as part of the Moxie Arts NY Incubator Program.

As a director, they enjoy working on new plays and devised works that tackle otherness and the limits of ethics and morality. They love spectacle, magic, transformation, and making the impossible and unexpected appear onstage. Additional NYC credits include readings with Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective and Moxie Arts NY, assisting at the NAMT Annual Festival of New Musicals, and directing for 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. Annabel is an alum of Studio Theatre's directing apprenticeship in Washington, D.C. They have assisted Whitney White, Henry Godinez, Joanie Schultz, Reginald Douglas, and David Muse.

Connor Lifson

he/him


is a director, deviser, and designer of performance based in both Chicago and the Bay Area. As a theater artist, Connor loves highly visual storytelling, abstraction, and fantasy. Engaging across disciplines and forms, his directing work includes object-based performances, multimedia productions blending the stage and screen, as well as site-specific, immersive experiences.

Recently, Connor has co-created a shadow puppetry short film for Lookingglass Theatre Company (“The Garden of the Phoenix”) and is taking a show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer (Book of Dew). Connor has assisted Mary Zimmerman at Lookingglass Theatre and the Goodman, as well as Jessica Thebus at Northlight Theatre. A graduate of Northwestern’s Department of Performance Studies, Connor is currently pursuing his PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies at Stanford University, where his research explores how the genre of fantasy can serve as a catalyst to rehearse new realities: not to hold up a mirror to society, but a shimmering looking glass — not to reflect our world’s reality, but its fantastic potential.

Jeremy Gubman

is an administrator, producer, and sometime composer and musician based in Chicago, IL. He currently works as the Artistic Administrator and Assistant to the Artistic Director at The Joffrey Ballet. In other lives he has been a sound engineer and designer, a music director, and a graphic designer.
